I have created several new works for the Dreamchord Luxe series, which I first began back in March last year. The series consists of what I like to call 'digital miniatures', for they are supposed to suggest a similar intimacy to polaroid images. The recurring themes here: childhood, memory, magic, diaries.

I am currently crawling through another phase of insomnia, so my working hours are pretty haphazard. Thankfully I managed to sleep almost the entirety of yesterday, so I'm just about ready to take on the world once again! I am also beginning work on a brand new commission/collaboration, which I should be able to elaborate upon at a later date - although I can say that it involves a book cover illustration and character design for a unique little doll! Quite exciting.
Oh and on a shop related note, I shall be adding new works Anoushka and Closer to the shelves very soon!
Take care
♥
Those are magnificent! Very dreamy & ethereal. Love the transposed imagery!

Beautiful, dreamy, intriguing! I'm right there with you when it comes to insomnia :-(
Managed to sleep okay for a few nights in a row (very unusual!) but last night was... Well. I somehow think insomnia is UNFAIR for a person who works from her home and sets her own hours. When I had to get up at 6 or 7 in the past, no wonder I couldn't sleep much, but now?

There is a strange sense here in which the memories seem all the stronger for not being quite our own - exploding whispers of a past that somehow, unavoidably, awaits.

Gorgeous work! Nevermind and Changeling are my favorites of the group. I hope you share your doll design when the time is right - I'm sure it will be lovely.
