I am absolutely blown away by your artwork. It is unbelievable what you make. I am trying to figure out how one woman can create all this beauty, but it boggles the mind. You are so very talented and so very unique. I hope you are discovered on a grand scale.

Okay, Lou, you are beginning to scare me with the pom-pom thingy. hehe

What a lovely long post this time. Yay! I'm especially fond of Rose Red and Artemis. As usual, you have wowed me.

I love The Reader. So beautiful and evocative.

(I don't think I've commented here before — I found your blog via trackbacks a while ago when you linked to my knitted Alice teacups, and have been reading since.)

Oh my, I always feel a bit overwhelmed trying to comment on your blog entries, because the sheer amount of wonderfulness that is included in them is often staggering.

I LOVE Marmalade Fires (and I love that album by Mum as well - especially the song Blessed Brambles - the whole album seems very childish and playful to me).

Artemis and the field mouse just make me feel like I'm drifting off into some other world... I could create an entire story to go along with them... they just make my mind wander...

One of our cats likes to drink black tea with cream and sugar :) I guess we did give him an Irish name, so that probably shouldn't be a surprise :)

What a coincidence, I don't have any underwear with pom-poms either :D

Have a wonderful day!

l love your veeeeeeeeeeery long blog, well worth the browse. l say 'browse' as l had to keep going through it back and forth, once was not enough , for me anyway. l couldn't pick a favourite as they are all exceptional. some of your work is too deep for me to understand, but that, nevertherless, doesn't stop me from appreciating a work of art (in my opinion).
l just may decide to make a very colourful pom-pom for you. the mind boggles as to where you would choose to hang it. I didn't know you had a (thing) for them.
say cheerio for now before the laptop decides to have one of it's many funny turns.

surprised l have got this far.
love always mumxxxxxx

I don't think I have posted here either... but I am a consistent browser and am always fulfilled with the beauty I see here.

Thank you for sharing.

Meg White as Rose Red, that's perfect. You should send that picture to her people. I think they'd love it.

Thanks for all of your comments - and a warm welcome to all faithful browsers! xxx

So good to see others who love the mum album, too!

As for Meg White, ha...she would certainly enjoy a trip through the swirling mirror. I tried it last night, although i ought to warn others that only half of myself actually returned.

Oh, and if anyone can advise me where i might be able to purchase a pompom bestrewn corset, i would be extremely grateful (?);)

Michelle Anderson

Love the new prints..especially the floating heads and the field mouse. What a sweet face.

Oh!!! These new pieces...they are SO lovely...I'm particularly smitten with "Marmalade Fires"! :)

Can I live in the crumbling castle,too... and borrow your pompoms from time to time!? ;)

michelle, the floating heads are honoured! they didnt think anybody would love them like i do;)

marjorie, marmalade was rather taken by party bear, in fact. imagine that!

thanks xxx

A Fanciful Twist

Sweet LOU!!!!!! Heloooooo ;* Your creations are more than wonderful. I am smitten, I don't like anyone better than the other because they are all more magical than words can describe. I want to bring the field mouse home and feed her cakes. She is such a sweetie!!!! Pies of everyberry in the land... Your art is out of this realm, incredible!! xoxoxo

I too love the reader. Let me know if you are going to offer prints of it. It would be wonderfull hanging in my library.

oh, such a perfect post!
I love the turquoise and the reds. I especially like Artemis1- I love her blue dress! Blue has been on my mind as of recent. Maybe due to springs arrival in a few months (fingers crossed!)
You art is always so fantastical! Very, very pretty and inspiring.

Lu, I've got something for you in my blog
