Imagination, belief, wonder....Now, imagine that you have experienced something that nobody, no matter how long you have known them, or how much they profess to love you, would ever be able to believe.

Not quite finished, I think. I plan to work into this one when I return home from my little holiday next week. Somewhat more graphic than the usual....I am still very much enjoying playing around with collage shapes and textures. Many of these are created on paper before scanning them into the computer. Ultimately these are mixed media pieces, having been created using my illustration, photographs and painted shapes.

I used to have a Shetland pony. He wasn't exactly fond of me, but we did share many experiences together. Adventures, of a sort. I have been wondering about the parts of my childhood that still remain lost to me. They are forever on the periphery, yet never quite tangible.

 I am still quite obsessed with Wilkie Collins (having completed The Dead Secret already), and shall simply have to wait patiently now for The Moonstone to arrive.

These silhouettes are fabulous. I especially adore "And Nobody Knows if it Really Happened". I think that sort of "Chintz" fabric gives the piece an all around innocent feel, but the title declares otherwise! Oh, and I love that you can make out just a wee bit of toes on her feet!
